Banana Muffins

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour

2/3 cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon cloves

2 tablespoons whole plain yogurt

1 teaspoon lemon juice

3 mashed bananas

3 beaten eggs

1/4 cup milk

Optional: 1/2 cup toasted walnut pieces

Optional: 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F

Sift all dry ingredients together.

Add eggs, bananas, yogurt, milk, lemon juice.

Use a hand mixer on medium speed and blend thoroughly.

If adding walnuts or chocolate chips, stir in with a spatula or wooden spoon after blending.

Use an ice cream scooper to get perfect portions into muffin slots.

Bake at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.
