All the Questions for Teachers to Ask at a New School

Note Cards
Print these templates onto cardstock and keep in your desk to grab quickly whenever you need to send a short note or a thank-you for a gift received.

Have a substitute? Here are some fun cards to leave along with your instructions.

End of Quarter/Testing
Send these notes home at the end of the quarter or testing week to let students know how much you appreciate all their hard work.

Lost Teeth
Celebrate lost teeth with these stickers. Print onto a whole-sheet label and cut. When students lose teeth, place in a small envelope and seal with the sticker. Children will appreciate the special touch.

Use this tally chart to keep track of how many teeth your class loses as a whole over the course of the year. It’s a fun way to involve math in something important to young children.

Missed Work
Help students (and yourself) keep track of missed work from sick days and vacations with these pages.

Teacher Tips

Have trouble remembering your extra duties? Write them on a small paper and tape them to the back of your school ID. This way they will always be with you.

To help students who struggle with tracking when you are writing on the board, alternate colors for each bullet point. This way, students can more easily find where their eyes last left off.

Rushing to get a banner up for a special day? Instead of hole-punching and stringing it, just staple pages at a slight angle and then staple or tape to the wall.
