Volume Templates
Use these templates to help students understand how to calculate perimeter, area, and volume. Place inside a plastic sleeve for students to write on with a dry erase marker.
For finding the volume of an L-shaped figure, use this template with mini sticky notes in four different colors. Have students copy the dimensions of the shape in each way onto three sticky notes of the same color. Sticky notes of the same color may be swapped, but those of different colors may not. This can be especially helpful for students who get stuck on multiple-choice questions for L-shaped figures.
