Triangle Number Family Template
Print this template and place in a plastic sleeve for children to write on with dry-erase markers. When making a connection between a known and unknown equation with the same numbers, filling in the sections can help jog their memories.

These triangles can continue to be used into upper elementary for students who struggle with new concepts and need a visual reminder that fact families stay the same, even when they start to look very different.

You can bring these triangles back when students begin learning algebra to help with questions that throw them for a loop. When they see all the options for a math sentence together, it can help eliminate incorrect options.
Triangle Fact Families Game
